BusinessToday24 Correspondent, Chattogram: The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has announced the schedule for its upcoming election, with the price of a nomination form set at Tk 25,000.
According to the election notice issued on Monday (August 11), voting will be held on November 1 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the World Trade Center in Chattogram.
The draft voter list will be published on September 7, followed by the final voter list on September 14 at 10:00 am. The sale of nomination forms will begin the same day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and continue until 1:00 pm on September 20. Submission of nomination papers will be accepted until 4:00 pm on September 21.
Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place at 4:00 pm on September 23, and the list of 
valid candidates will be published at 11:30 am on September 25. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is October 8 at 1:00 pm, and the final list of candidates will be released at 3:00 pm on the same day.
Vote counting will begin immediately after the polls close, with results to be announced the same day. Following the completion of the appeal process, the President, Senior Vice President, and Vice President will be elected.
The CCCI has stated that the voter list will be available on the chamber’s notice board, while the final voter list can be purchased for Tk 5,000. The price of a nomination form has been fixed at Tk 25,000. If any election-related activity cannot be conducted on the scheduled date, it will be held on the next working day.
